PBS Database Export Interface - PBS Utility to extract data from the SAP Database

Product Specification : Using the PBS Database Export Interface you can extract business processes in full or in part from SAP R/3 and evaluate them during audits with PC analysis programs that are independent of an ERP system and validate them. Only data from the SAP R/3 database is used as the data basis. The scope of extraction consists of master, transaction and Customizing data as well as change documents. The tool enables data extract "on demand", which means extract datasets can only be created at the time of requirement. The extract functionality is enhanced with audit-acceptable storage of data extracts in conventional Content Management systems.

Functionality : Using the PBS Database Export Interface, business processes can be extracted from an SAP system. The data is stored in the SAP audit format (AIS). You can define the fields of a partial business process to be included in the extraction run in a maintenance dialog in the form of savable field catalogs. A link is created from the financial accounting document to all preceding or subsequent documents, which enables data extraction beyond the SAP module boundaries (known as an audit track). For further data processing independently of the ERP system, conventional PC analysis programs are available, which generally have an SAP AIS import interface. Another option is to import the data via a description standard in the XML format
